‘Bad Ambulance’ is the ever-unfolding electronic music project of Jack Palmer. The project has two distinct parallel modes: studio production and a self-styled improvised performance that unites samples from the Bad Ambulance catalogue with found-footage as audio-responsive video projections. In a Bad Ambulance live show, audio-visual repetition is collaged relentlessly to produce a chain of near-danceable panic-stricken bardo spaces that unfold with a dream-like logic. It is a nightmarishly euphoric synthesis of rhythm, symbolism and visceral energy.
